How do I update only a specific svn external on first update?

How can i update my psp ver. 4.05 ofw to 5.00 m33?, (do i need to downgrade it first?), how?

  • actually, our psp version was originally 3.71m33... then i accidentally upgraded it to 4.05 ofw... daNG!, only if we knew the ISO playing part earlier... for 1 month, were stock in 4.05... now our wait is finaly over becoz sony realeased 5.00 OFW and DARK ALEX releases the CFW for 5.00... our problem is... when were trying to update it... it says "The game could not be started..." we already renamed the file and transfer it to the PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder... but how come it doesnt work??? is it still possible to update our psp to 5.00 m33 without dowgrading to 4.01 m33...??? HELP... THANKS...(^^)

Well if you were trying to play a game from the memory stick and if it said "the game could not be started" then i think you need to have a game disc inside the umd. If i'm right then your game didn't start because you didn't have a game inside the umd. I know it sounds kind of dumb but the disc inside the umd will make the psp think if it was playing the game from the disc and not from the memory stick. So there has to be a game disc inside the UMD. Not sure but i hope it helps a little.
