I want to upgrade my pc for playing games smoothly. need help?

  • my pc configuration is, processor: pentium(r) dual-core e5200 @ 2.50 ghz, ram: 2 gb, video card: nvidia geforce 9400 gt ( 1gb ddr2). i can play many games but it doesn't play smoothly (ex:call of duty- black opps). i want to play these games smoothly with full requirements. what can i do now without changing processor or motherboard.should i only upgrade my ram into 3gb for better performance.

  • Answer:

buy a ddr5 graphic card .. the best and affordable graphic card is ati radeon hd 5750 or ati radeon hd 5770 and increase your RAM to 4 GB .. and this fixes your problem .. hope this helps you

Only thing you can do is get a new video card and add some ram. Or replace the ram altogether. I wouldn't waste the money though, you're going to need to replace it soon if you want to keep PC gaming. Dual core just isn't where the money is anymore. Or just throw down on an xbox and forget it.

buy a new graphics card. the gtx series will do you well. i own a gtx 570 and can run games on max with no issues. it may be a bit pricey but it's well worth investing into.

might wanna upgrade your ram. I've got the same settings as you except i have 4gb of ram and I can run any game smoothly :D So smoothly that other people call me hacks on FPS games like Combat Arms >.>
