What should I do on my sleepover?

What activities can I plan for a sleepover?

  • I really want to have a back-to-school sleepover with my 3 BFFs. I have a few questions: 1. My mom and dad don't really like having parties at our house. How can I convince them to let me have a sleepover? 2. What activities should we do (we are all in the 8th grade this year)? I was thinking of starting the party at 12:00 noon on the Friday before school starts, going to the mall to have lunch and shop, then coming and having dinner at home. I'm a little rusty at throwing parties because I haven't had a birthday party in like 3 years and the last sleepover I hosted was in 3rd grade. ;) Any suggestions, ladies and/or gents?

    Just tell your parents that you'll take full responsibility for everything that goes on, that you won't do anything bad, and you'll clean everything up. When it gets late, you should all get high and play sexy games. ;-) Just joking, i really don't know what you could do. Maybe tell some scary stories, play truth or dare, tag in the dark, and the like. Good luck though

You can ask your parents "Im old enough. I dont do anything wrong. Its just close friends for the night. Its not like its 10 people or something. Cmon it wont be that bad". I mean ask them for a reason why u cant let them come.

I am not sure why your parents would have a problem with you hosting a sleepover at your house since you've had one in the past. Just give them reasons why you would like to like for example let them know some of your friends are going to other schools next year and you would like to spend time with them before the summer is over, and let them know that the summer is almost over and you would really like to do something special before it over. You can also show your parents that this is something you want by helping out alot more around the house, but you must ask now and start showing them so they can give you an answer so you can start preparing for the party. The time that you specified for the party is pretty good, but the mall part is okay but you must consider that everyone may not have funds to shop so think of another afternoon activity like going to the movies or swimming.
