Where can you get the wii game, wii party?

A Nintendo Wii or a Sony Ps3?

  • I've always been a fan of my ps1 & Ps2 ever since i got it. I've been playing ps2 games since it first came out, 300$. But now that some new systems are out, im stuck between the Nintendo Wii and the Sony Ps3. I just recently played the Wii and i absolutely love it! The Wii Sports rock and so does the Mario Party 8. I love how you actually get to experience the real stuff. Like rowing a boat, driving, punching. I haven't tried the Ps3 yet, and besides the Great graphics... thats about all i know about the Ps3. It doesnt seem like anything special really. But its a hassle to have to go back and forth with my Ps2 and Wii. If i had a gamecube, those games could be played on the wii. The wii just seems much more worth it for 250$, and its something totally new. so whatcha think? Wii 250$ or Ps3 500-600$? im financially okay, just need a good game system.

  • Answer:

I have the wii. its super fun. The ps3 has good graphics, but thats really all you can say right now. they dont have too many good games out right now. and all the glitches havent been fixed. so just wait until more better games come out, just kill some time with the wii. thats what im doing.

Definately go for the Wii. Usually I would go with Sony, but the PS3 isn't really a great item (yet!). Sure they have spectacular graphical capability, but that's about it. The Wii has a great plus. I don't mean the controller too. The playability is longlived and it's just plain fun! I found that the controller can be a bit awkward after too much playing, but then again, I'm a gamer and probably play if for wayyyyyy to long. Also another note - the strap has been altered on the Wii, so the new models being sold haven't got the problem of the strap snapping and the controller flying into the TV. Hope this helps.

I would probably just sell the ps2 and the games and then get a Wii and a bunch of games. Even though the ps3 graphics are great the Wii is a new way of gaming so I prefer the Wii. (its graphics aren't bad either)

If you have a lot of people to play with all the time then the Wii is ok but if your playing by yourself then it gets old quickly, If your used to P.S. games then its gonna be hard to switch to nintendo but if money isnt the problem then i would go ahead and buy the Wii now and wait untill the P.S.3 price goes down

If you wait later a week or 2 ps3 price will go down a $100 for either edition so that saves money to buy a game but I would wait to get a ps3 because Sony is planing a 80gb model and also because during a play station life cycle is undergoes a slimmer slimmer model like the ps2 slim which is alot better better than the original so the wii is the better choice for now.

I have BOTH, so I know the experience on them. Here are my takes on both: Wii- I first had the PS3 since the day it came out. I was crazy for a Wii also! Then, my bro's friend came to visit from Canada, and brought a Wii. I played it, and after 15 minutes, my arm cramped up so much, it hurt badly. Everyone's arm was killing them. I still didn't care. I wanted that Wii. After 4 months, I had raised my parents phone bill by calling every store in San Diego, and asking "Do you any Wii's availible?" and my ear was getting warm. Then, I found it. A Wii. We got it, and I played it. The games were so boring. I almost hated it and got mad that I did all that work for a graphic less, and painful system. My brother puts it in his room now, not me. PS3- We pre ordered the PS3 to get it on the day it came out, November 17, 2006. We didn't camp out, we could afford them, and it was easy. Sadly, it was my brother's and I couldn't play it, until it wa popular, and that would give him enough time to spend hours on the computer! I played it, and loved it. Since I never played it before, I thought it sucked, and the Wii was superior. I was wrong. The graphics are so amazing, but you'll prefre a HDTV for it to see the graphics so nice. And better yet, it has a Blue Ray Disk! 93% of all Blockbusters in the world will now be selling only Blue Ray Disks, instead of DVDs. Blue Ray's are about $200. The Ps3, well the one I got, was $600. So, that means you are really only paying about $400 for the expensive one, and $300 for the cheaper one. Better yet, the expencive one comes with a Blue Ray DISK, Taladega Nights, and it's free. Now, I prefer PS3, but make a desision.
