Why do we study geography?

Why is geography important study?

• Answer:

  geography is the study of the earth, both physical and human. for physical geography, volcanoes, rivers, earth crusts, oceans, and all the landforms in the earth are studied. by studying them, there'll be a greater understanding of their processes, causes & effects. as we all live on this planet earth, learning about those stuff is good for us as this is our only home. there's no harm in learning them. :) for human geography, population studies, settlement patterns, and etc, will help us in understanding other parts of the world that we can't possibly go there. most important about studying geography is that you'll understand the earth better, just like how you understand how your house works(like where's the toilet, which part of the kitchen is most vulnerable to fire, etc..) geography is cool :)
