Why are my breasts sore?

Breasts aren't sore before period.. why?

• My period is due in 3 days, iv never known me not to have sore breasts when I'm due on, somtimes they even become sore 2 weeks before I'm due but this month I'm breasts aren't sore, tender or swollen at all. Anyone know why? Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

  These sort of questions always amuse me - you're not supposed to have sore breasts, although this is a common PMS symptom it's not a necessary part of menstruation and most women can completely prevent this from happening. The breast pain before menstruation is abnormal, so you really shouldn't be concerned when it no longer occurs! There is of course a chance if you're sexually active that you've gotten pregnant thus will not experience PMS symptoms, or you may have ovulated later thus your cycle is later than normal and so your period is not due and you may see your PMS symptoms later than usual.
