Do You Know How To Make An AMV?

Dose anyone know how to make an AMV?

  • I have always wanted to make an AMV(anime music video)...but I really don't know how to. What do I do? What program should I use? Where do I get the clips from the animes? Yeah, so I know nothing about this stuff.. Thanks!

    I've made a few before, You basically take different clips from an anime(s) and find music to fit with it, make a little story with it if you wish. (Like a love tribute between two characters, inuyasha and kagome, sakura and naruto/sasuke, etc) I used Windows Movie Maker but you can use Sony Vegas which is a better program, you may be able to find a trial for it if it isn't free. You'll have to download the animes yourself. There are different sites that allow you to download. I'm not skilled but doing AMV actually helped me figure out that i want to major in film editing. (:
