What is that weird anime?

Why is it weird to watch anime?

• So i started watching anime since 5th or 6th grade? I used to watch Sailor Moon when I was a kid, but that was it. I started getting interested in Naruto because I saw it on cartoon network and now I'm not obsessed, but I watch alot of anime now(mostly romance). My (ex) bestfriend saw that I like anime because she saw me watching naruto and others on my computer and she completely disapprove of this. I didn't care because I like anime. Ever since her, I haven't told anyone except for a cousin who doesn't care and is supportive and a friend who also likes anime(but she likes bloody/action anime). I don't like watching anime infront of my family cos it's weird lol(I watch it in private). I don't watch it with friends either. I guess you can say "it's my little secret" lol. Basically what I'm trying to say is why do I feel like it's not normal for me to watch anime? People don't really see me as an anime lover because i guess you can say i'm not like those anime fan girls(nerdy, non talking about anime, etc) but some friends tease me about anime just because i'm asian and they assume every asian watches it. I don't like telling people i watch anime because I feel they'll say something like "Ew you watch that?" you know? Ahhh. btw, I feel like once I finish highschool i will never be able to watch anime again because my childhood is OVER! isn't it weird if i'm 26 and still watch anime? lol. so simple my questions are; 1. how do I feel comfortable telling people I like/watch anime? 2. Is it weird for me to continue watching anime when I'm in my twenties?

  If you only want one JOptionPane window, then don't ask the dialog to pop up within the loop (because it will pop up for every execution of the loop). You can build a String inside the loop (tacking on each student's information) -- and then after the loop completes, make a single JOptionPane call to display the String that you've created. As for the "max" thing, you don't need a while-loop do perform an assignment. And as written the loop will never exit because your while-loop wants "maxValue" to increase, but it assigns "mark" inside the loop. Typically a max value is implemented something like this: int max = 0; for (int i=0 ; i<grade.length; ++i) if (max < grade[i]) max = grade[i]; Note that this code assumes grade[i] will be non-negative. (If all grades were negative numbers, max would remain 0 because its initial value would be higher than any grade.) There are other variations you can use in other cases (e.g. start out max as grade[0] if you are sure grade.length is at least 1). In this case you want to get the max grade AND the name of the student, so maybe it's best to capture the INDEX of the max grade instead: int maxIdx = 0; for (int i=0; i<grade.length; ++i) if (grade[i] > grade[maxIdx]) maxIdx = i; When this loop completes, grade[maxIdx] and name[maxIdx] are the grade and name of the student with the best score. (And if multiple students are TIED for the best score, it's the first one. If you need something smarter about ties, that can easily be done.) @M
