Why do eyes cloud black after death?

What happens when you give up the Death Note but you have the shinigami eyes?

  • Okay, so in Death Note Misa traded half of her lifespan for the shinigami eyes, then she gave up the Death Note so then she couldn't remember anything about it or the shinigami. So, she shouldn't have the eyes anymore but does she get back the half of her life she gave up? -Thanks!

  • Answer:

When Misa gave up her Death Note - she gave up all the memories along with the Shingami eyes. And the half life span she gave up for the Shinigami eyes --> she does not get that back. So for example, if she were to get Shinigami eyes again - she would give up half her already halved life span... O_o I hope that helps ^_^

No. Her life span still remains half, even if she does remember or not. When you first trade for the shinigami lives, your life span is cut in half. So, when you give away your memories of the times when you have a Death Note, your life span remains where it is. For example, I have a life span of 24, and I traded half of my life span for the eyes. So, I have 12 more years to live. I lose my memory, but my life span won't be effected. When I regain my memories again, I wanted to trade half my life span for the eyes again. This time, I have 6 years to live. I hope this helps.

No, for she still gave it up, so her life is still halved
