Death Note: In order to obtain Shinigami eyes you must give up half of your life span. Can you cheat this?

Say I was the owner of a death note, I gave up half of my life span and in return got shinigami eyes. Either before or after obtaining the shinigami eyes I wrote my own death. My death is described for me to live till I was idk 80 and die of natural causes. Would this counter my new death? Would I have to write this before or after? (Also can you make your self not age?)

Unfortunately, your life would probably be still cut in half. I don't think you can cheat death note, but you see, I am not 100% sure.

I doubt that would work , since I dun think u can write at which age u will die , esp when u'r very very young.
