What does it mean when someone calls you a very studious person?

What does it mean when someone calls a person a squid??

  • I have never heard someone use this term until recently..and I am not sure what it means. They use the term alot, so if anyone can help..I would really appreciate it. If someone says "She/He is a real squid." what does that mean?? I only know of squid as a sea animal - not used in reference to a person.

  • Answer:

Squids are mostly known for the suckers on their tentacles. Also for the way in which they clutch or grasp something and hold on to it. Maybe it's a way of calling a person - especially a woman, unfortunately - a desperate, clutching, sucker.

Hello

Well a squid is a squid, right! so I guess the person just came up with that name and stuck with it. I guess it sounded good to whoever you are referring to. If the person calls you a squid, just turn around and call that dude or chick an octopus.
