  • Answer:

SOUNDS SUSPICIOUS. PAy pay is a real website and people usually do business through their. Just make sure you don't give him any information about your account like your password. But this does seem very suspicious. I've never knew people did that on ebay. If you feel weird about it then don't do it. He probably wants you to send the item and pay for it with fake money and then next thing you know when you try to get the money its gone or never existed. GOOD EYE! Plus I love how he uses the son excuse and uses reverse psychology talking about he "hopes your an honest and reliable buyer". Means I'm not.

SCAM SCAM SCAM Anyone offering to pay more for anything and you send money back will end up costing you that total amount! They send a counterfeit check, you sen the real money, a month or so later their check is returned and the bank holds you responsible for all of it.

That is definitly a scam. My friend had the same thing with his laptop, he was offered 300 for shipping. The shipping cost him 97, and guess what he lost his laptop and never got his money.

I'm afraid so. If the email came from an unknown sender, and you did not place a bid, do NOT fall for it.

Sounds funny to me. Just remember the old saying: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I don't see how you can go wrong in all this (get scammed if you know what I mean) but the whole thing just sounds so so so fishy. idk Don't you have a paypal account? ebay makes you have one these days doesn't it? I know I had to make one when i was selling some dvds EDIT* You can pay for things via paypal using an ECheque, it's like a regular cheque but on thje internet, even if they do pay like this you don't send the item unless the money clears

Yes a scam - and a very common one these days. Don't even think about it.
