How to write a rescind letter for a job application?
-
I would like to write a rescind letter to a VP. I applied for a job and have not heard from the department. It has been over a month, so I feel the position is not that important to fill.

Answer:
If they have not contacted you by now, they are simply not intersted. Do not even bother contacting them(after all they did not give you the time of day!). If they have contacted you, or do in the future, be polite and tell them you are no longer interested in the position. If the situation wanes on your brain, feel free to phone the Human Resources division of the company(Personnel Department) with the same polite information. Unless you know the VP personally, Do not feel obligated to contact him or her.
