What makes accounting hard?

• I really love math. I recently got an A in calculus 1 this semester, and from what I know it doesn't seem that accounting wouldn't be too hard. I'm taking accounting next semester along with economics, international relations, and intro to business. I just witnessed three of my friends fail accounting last semester. They all claim it's hard. I thought accounting was just the adding and subtracting of money within a business. Then again, those guys party every week and skip most days. Anyways, is accounting hard? what makes it hard?

  Wow if you got an A in calculus then you really shouldn't be worried. To answer your question simply... Accounting uses math and math is one of those subjects that you gotta be careful with. People say its hard because if you forget one number or miss a decimal or something then it throws everything off. I think you'll be fine if your good at calc.
