How can I submit an invention idea?

If you have an idea for an invention and you want to submit it to a company, how would you do it/or who to ask

• Let's say I have an idea for an invention but I don't know how to submit it or know who to talk to. For example, I have an idea for a new tv and want to sumbit it to Sony, how would I go about?

  No one values IDEAS. What is valued are IDEAS that are proved to be novel or inventive AND have been shown to be able to practically demonstrated. If you have something which fits this then you need to :- 1. not tell anyone (unless you have a confidentiality agreement 2. search patents for evidence that your idea is different 3. Gather evidence on your claim for novelty or inventiveness 4. Find a way to make a prototype that proves your novelty 5. File a patent application 6. Research companies that may value you patented idea 7. Hint: the biggest companies may not always be the ones who will be excited by your idea 8. Consider government sources of funding further development 9. Write to your researched companies and find out how they handle IDEAS from outside their company 10.
