Desktop / Laptop to run "Second Life" - best value for money deals?

I want to buy a computer that can run Second Life very well. I hope to to building, scripting and animating so want one that doesn't have performance issues. Can anyone recommend the best value for money laptop AND desktop so i can compare? Links please.
