Please help! How can I get a new code for the sims 2 (for PC)????

Sims 2 (read details for question)? I lost my activation code for 'The Sims 2' for PC. Can anyone from Scotland (I don't think that an American Code would work on the Scottish version of the game) please help. Could somebody please either: 1) Give me a copy of their activation code, or 2) Tell me how I can get a new code if that is possible. Thanks for your help!
