How do you get rid of blurry sims in The Sims 2 game?

How do i get the cheat gnome to work on my game cube for the sims 2 pets?

• i have asked here with no help yet. i know the cheat to get he gnome by the mail box now what i put in the code yxablra during game play for more pet points but still nothing what am i doing wrong and on the cheat sites they all say At the codes screen under the "Game Options" menu, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function: i dont get this cause i pause the game and go to game options and there is not a cheat screen there is there suppose to be? game malfuntion or am i just being stupid some one who knows what i am talking about and knows what to do please give me a walkthru this is driving me crazy ty

  You have to put the pet point cheat in during gameplay and u have to put it in fast if it does work the first time do it again it took me a while to put it in but while u are playing u put the cheat in.
