What is the newest SimCity game for the PC?

In the game SimCity 3000 (PC) I buy powerplants and connect them to my cities but my cities have no power? why

  • I've bought a zillion power plants and tried putting them in various parts of my city. I've even included power lines connecting from one plant to a buliding just to check and nothing happens! What am I doing wrong???

  • Answer:

    Usually you have to have buildings:residential, commerce, industrial, to be able to attatch the powerlines to. If the power lines are flashing with a little lightning bolt symbol, that means they have no power to them, if they are blank, that means they are powered. at least thats what happens in SimCity 2000, that I am basing this on.

I had tons of problems with that game too... I finally gave up and got Sim City 4. It's beautiful. When your "power advisor" gives you hell and you try to fix it, does that work? Sometimes that would debug it for me.

You might have a break in your power line. I would check that first.
