Modern rts games that actually have strategy/tactics?

• i have played many rts games, however now i feel many of the current games have lost their strategical base. games like command and conquer, sins of a solar empire and warcraft all seem to have the same concept, just mass units and overwhelm. I was trying to find a game with deeper strategy, more thought required...games such as starcraft and rise of nations both appealed to me with their complex strategies but are dated graphically. so really I was wondering what are some current games (or games with good graphics) that actually use strategy vs just massing units. *also i am aware of starcraft 2 but was thinking towards games that are out currently

  universe at war! its couple years old and quite buggy, but still looks good! huge battles, using the correct units means victory not just to making a lot of them. and have you heard of a game called dawn of war? its more popular and i think its a mix of mass army's and using the correct units. but i'm sure you can find game play on web sites like youtube
