How do you get the internet working on your PSP?

Yet another PSP internet problem...?

  • What do I do for my psp? I get this error, "A network error has occured. The attempt to obtain the IP address timed out." I can't get the network update because I have to go via the internet...Any suggestions? I don't know what much else I can do. It has been working for three months now with no problem, but all of a sudden it haesn't worked. I check the WEP key and it is right, the roueter is picked up and I have the WLAN switch on..

    Well this is Kenny still just on a differnt account, how can I find the IP address? It never shows up...and you don't manually enter it, all it does is scan for wireless networks ______________________________________… Well how can I not be in a hotspot, I sitting 2 feet from my wireless router...

keep trying, and be right next to the router. when you finally do get the IP adress, write it down. its going to happen again, more than likely.

could it be that there is no accesible wireless router around when you are trying to access the internet, because thats the only thing I can think of being the problem... PSPs cannot just go on the internet anywhere in the world, you need a hotspot for it.
