Which do you like better, PS3 or Xbox 360?

WHICH IS BETTER? XBOX 360 or PS3??? Should I tell him, or should I not?

  • What do you think? Xbox or ps3? I have recently found out that my dad bought me an xbox 360 for x-mas yesterday. But I heard from ppl that the xbox is crap and keeps getting messed up. Also, xbox has lots of shooting games, which im not into. Im more into games like Zelda, star ocean, and final fantasy. I was wanting a ps3, but its way to expensive, and I doubt my dad would buy me that. He spent so much money on the xbox, I would feel really bad if I told him to return the gift. It seems wrong and mean. is it worth having an xbox? Should I tell him to return it for something else, or just accept the gift? I was thinking of the wii too…but the wii is kind of crappy compared to both. Im so confused! X_X HELP!!! What would you do..and please give me your opinion. P:S… is the xbox connection for the internet thing free? Just asking…

    I think you will be ok with the 360. Right now the 360 has the most titles and more exclusives. PS3 has really yet to establish itself and they are losing more exclusive titles everyday so at this point its not a bad investment to snag the 360. Xbox Live is free to connect to but you will need to have a gold membership to play some titles on-line which is 50 bucks a month. Like I have previously posted I would reccomend buying a membership game card from circuit city as they are 50 dollars for 13 months rather than 50 dollars for 12 months. Merry Christmas, You will not be disappointed with a 360. Also fear not about the hardware failure. The newer machines have been upgraded and rarely go down, and if it does Microsoft customer service is top notch at repairing your system and getting it back to you. Mines been repaired twice and each repair took 2 weeks from the time I requested the repair to the time I received my xbox back.

dude i wouldnt say anything to him...xbox 360 is better than ps3. and no they fixed most of the "ring of death" problems.havent had any problems with mine yet.oh and graphics are like the same...360 may have slightly better graphics though.

XBOX!!! i have both and i never play my ps3 you will get more for your money if you get the xbox because there is xbox LIVE and you can play with anyone in the world plus xbox has better games and well... everything about the xbox is better!

Nothing really different, the graphics are completely the same ingame, if any difference you would rarely notice it. Only problem is some games you can only find the PS3 and some games you can only play on the 360. You have to pay for Live for 360 to play online, you also have to worry about it overheating and frying the disc reader. You get a limited 2 year warranty on this though (just keep the Xbox cool and buy a fan). The PS3 has free online but everything is costly for it. I would go with the Xbox since you are just paying more for the exact same thing.

well im not sure to what to say..but i think you should get the xbox360 it cost less and it has WAY better game..but the ps3 is better and most of the stuff that you have to pay for on the 360 is free on the ps3..ok i just read the descripiton you put..lol..now if you like zelda get a wii..(its pretty cheap)..they have twilight princess and theres a new 1 coming out in 2009!! woot i cant wait!!..oh yea and if you like final fantasy get a ps3..it has so much better graphics than anything..and the next final fantasy is gonna be awesome!! oh and everybody says that the 360 is better..and it doesnt break..easily?

well xbox has games like fable ii and bajo kazooy. it salso has some final fantasy games. neither the ps or xbxo has zelda but xbox has many games like i + has much better online and free insurance from microsoft.

Ive had my xbox 360 for nearly a year and i have not had a single problem with it personally. Xbox and PS3 are no different really they both do near the same thing. I think the Xbox is funner and not as complicated in my opinion. I prefer xbox. My friend has a PS3 and he prefers xbox. I would keep it its worth having and it wont upset your dad.

xbox360 because you can play demos online and play against others and you have your own avatars and can play games with them also you can watch movies and watch TV and get achievements but the PS3 stole that but overall xbox360 is better and has more games

I have both. Personally, I like the PS3 better, only because it plays blu-ray movies. Most of the games are the same on both consoles except for the title games that only on certain consoles (halo for Xbox, heavenly sword for PS3, etc.) Online: Xbox ~$50/yr, PS3=free. Not as many people online with PS3 for some reason, maybe because it's more expensive or people buying it as a blu-ray player? Only real factors I see from you getting that PS3 is your dad. If he's cool with letting you trade for it, I would do it. I would pay the difference myself, but if you don't have the money and he don't want to spend more, the Xbox is not a bad deal. Win situation all around. Never hurts to ask.
