What does "advanced" mean on your payslip?

U mean u can't trade Color poke'mon to Advanced? I have wires for trading that allow color+advanced to connect?

Someone said u can't trade Color Poke'mon to advanced, but I have connecting wires that let color and gameboy advanced to connect, so shouldn't it work? Overall does Red version eventually reach Platinum with trading? I have a TM-ed up abra and bulbasaur I want onto a Platinum I may get and I have wires so I could trade with my friend if possible to up it to his advanced and up to his DS version and then I could trade back to my new Platinum version if I buy it right? My friend beat all his poke'mon games except he doesn't have Platinum so would he have to beat it up to a certain point? I believe he beat everything on every version besides Platinum as far as I know...

eventually im pretty sure it would work you will probably want to use two game boy advanced to do it though
