PS2 game "Battlestar Galactica" Has anyone ever played it before? I can't figure out how to pass stage 7.

PS2 "Battlestar Galactica" game. I can't figure out how to pass stage 7. Where do I target after I break formation from the other Cylon Raiders? I blew-up the "core" as listed in my "objectives" but there is one other thing I have to do before I blow up the core. I got the feeling there's someplace in the top of the base I have to destroy but the cannons keep on blowing me up when I attempt to do so.
