How do you download things onto The Sims 3?

I am having trouble with the Sims, I cannot figure out how to download things for it can someone help me?

• I've tried to download things from Sim sites but I dont know how. can anyone help me cause I'd really like to download furniture and things like that.

  When you download from EA the download appears as a little blue box. That is a file that works with Bodyshop which comes with all the Sims 2 games. You should just have to double click the blue box you have downloaded and it should automatically install. If you need help with more technical details, like where to drop files, etc. go to the forums and choose technical discussion. You should be able to find most of your answers there. Just do a search on what you need to know. (Create a folder in your C drive called Downloads and then choose to download there. That way you always know where to find your download.)
