Where do you put custom content in Sims 2 Double Delux?

Sims 2 double deluxe problem!?

  • i got a new computer and i reinstalled my sims 2 double delux and put in a few custom content from the sims 2 exchange. When I started the game all the content you get with the nightlife and celebration stuff pack like clothes and downtown wouldnt work. They would be there but downtown would be like white with letters and numbers written in black and blue and crosses. Same with the gypsy lady she would be there but covered in that white stuff. I dunno what to do please help!?

    Oh gosh. Check to see if your CD's scratched. Another suggestion is try uninstalling and reinstalling the game again. You could also try to take the custom content out and reinstall that.

I've had a similar problem. You may hate it, but unistall ALL the custom content. It might be a certain thing you downloaded.

sometimes the graphics on my game glitch up and if i open the story editor, move the screen a bit (moving your mouse to the side so it moves around the game screen....) then the graphics fix themselves. but if that doesnt work then i would uninstall all your custom content, because one of them is likely causing the error.
