What to do when your nint DS mircophone does not work?

Need help with region codes on DS and Gameboy- Do American games work on English DS's?

• Hi, thanks for taking the time :) I AM IN THE UK Okay, I bought 2 pokemon games for the gameboy advance from eBay, but I completed the transaction on my iPhone, but when I checked on the computer, it says that the games are on the NTSC region code for America. My DS which is PAL, which I intend to play it on. Will the NTSC games work on PAL DS? I need to know whether I need to send them back or not. I read on several sites that Gameboy games are not regional, but if the game isn't, is the DS? They are both Nintendo handhelds after all. Thanks a lot, I appreciate your time :)

  As long as it's a proper DS and not a 3DS it will work just fine. I have a DS and I have games from the US, the UK, and Japan, and they all work fine. That's the entire reason I don't own a 3ds and never will. I travel all the time, and I don't want to have to buy THREE different handhelds just to be able to play games, not to mention the confusion of trying to keep track of which games go with which one...
