Dissapointed with Sims 3 (I have all 14 disks). I want to go back to Sims 2. What's the deal?

I played Sims 2 since 09. I have every single expansion and stuff, plus all the best custom content I can find. The sims don't have pixels when they shower, they don't have to get married in the default wedding clothes, the teens can get pregnant, married, and date adults. Oh yeah. I've got hair, lots and lots of hair, clothing, makeup, custom skin tones, custom sims that look like the celebrities they're based on on. I even know how to make my own clothing from Photoshop and Body Shop. I made this Sims 2 video last month as I was tranferring to Sims 3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MCw_ieXzBg So, I get Sims 3, and bought every single expansion in the store (I'm not poor). Now I have all of it, all the way up to Katy Perry's Showtime. I downloaded Nraas Master Controller, the Nraas Woohooer, and the blur remover. I download tons of custom stuff, and I even paid for the best hair styles and the prettiest sims. Sims 3 feels blah. Is Sims 3 better, or do I just have to get through the transition phase?

i love sims 3... it's different yes. i like the fact that you dont have to stay in your house, you can actually leave it easily. your not really saying what you dislike about it, and if you dont like it. why the HELL did you buy all the expaansion packs? (ps. are you really that desperate to need the blur remover...)

Obviously you want to go back to Sims 2 so do that. Watched your video, didn't see much custom content but from what you've been saying, seems like you loved Sims 2 more so just go back to that. Also, if you weren't "feeling it" with Sims 3, why buy all the expansions?

Insted of wasting infinite money on sims stuff i know its fun and all but spend that money on real stuff and go live it yourself
