Where To Find Wholesale Christmas Paper?

What kind of paper should I use for this?

• I'm making my mom's Christmas present, which is a family tree in Chinese calligraphy. I have everything but the paper. The problem is, my frame is 16x20 (I think. It was a big size) and wont fit any matting. I don't want to use rice paper because I can't find any bigger that 15x12 and it's too expensive. What kind of paper can I find in a larger size that would look nice? Please and thank you :)

  Well, if you're going to be using a dry medium, like charcoal or oil pastels, to make the calligraphy, a good idea would be to get sketch paper. It comes in many sizes that you can find easily at craft stores, and if the paper is bigger than the size you need, just use a paper cutter to trim it to the right size. Now, if you're using paint or ink sketch paper could still work, but most craft stores have special art paper made specifically for use with inks and paint, though I'm not so sure about their sizes.
