How do I make a narwhal costume? Any ideas?

Any ideas on how to make a pterodactyl costume?

  Unique. I like it. Although I have never done this... This is whaty *I* would do. I would use a wire form to make a paper machè beak (not sure how you would attach this to your face other than paper macheing it to some sort of mask and then using a strap around your head. You can then paint the beak or glue fabric around it to get the look you want. For the wings, you'll need some long fabric and roll the top sides into 'sleeves' to go around your arms and then cut the bottom into a cool winged pattern. That way when you extend your arms it looks like wings. Hopefully I described my ideas at least decently. Good luck.
