How do you make small flowers out of tissue paper?

• For a school project, I am required to make a lot of flowers out of tissue paper and glue them all onto a piece of paper. How can you quickly make small flowers out of tissue paper, but still make the flowers look good? My method to making small flowers right now is to wrap tissue paper around a pencil...will that work?

  Here is a link for you but there are more on youtube if you prefer a different style. Wrapping around a pencil will make a rose type flower if you keep the center tight and gradually open to the outside. It is a good start.
