Suggestions for a unique number plate?

Who manufactured this Collectable Decorative Rooster Plate?

• I have a Decorative Rooster plate that I would like to know the value of. I have researched many web sites but still come up with nothing useful. There is a marking on the back side that (looks like a wheat shaped shield with a crown on top and inside the shield shape is 3 cross shapes ,US and some numbers; maybe _ _95) The paper label notes "description" with a stamped number 9044. There also is a marking on the edge of the bottom that appears to be a signature (Chinese???). I'm at a loss and any information that may be useful is welcome. It was given to me by a lady I was helping to move. She mentioned maybe getting some money out of it some'day'. I've had it in storage several years and thought it may be that "day". Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.

  Judging just from your description of the piece it sounds like a Oriental Enamelled piece decorated in the Rooster pattern. First introduced in what is called "Wucai" colors during the Ming Dynasty, the rooster motif regain popularity throughout the late Ch'ing (Quing) period, and has remained a popular motif throughout the PROC period. The pattern was also painted on porcelain blanks from Japan, at studios and factories in Hong Kong.
