What is good things to make to sell at swap meets, craft shows, and such?

Most people who attend craft shows are usually pretty crafty people (thus that is why they are attending). They will often look at products to steal ideas and rarely buy anything as they can "make it themselves." If you want to really make some money at a craft fair / show, it is best to sell something that people will want RIGHT THEN. I would recommend food products as they will be eaten right there and then and have a much better chance of selling than items that are not needed urgently (like a necklace for example). you could make some jewelry sets of earrings and necklaces sew a few pieces of great clothing, like shirts, skirts, hand bags, tote bags. Crochet a few bags, maybe even crochet a recycled bag made of plastic shopping bags, they look excellent. look up in google how to make a crocheted bag from plastic bags.

I suggest a variety of things.....baby sweaters, bootees, blankets, crocheted Xmas ornaments, jewelry, potholders, hats, scarves, mittens, quick and easy plastic canvas items, home-made cookies, fudge ( always a good seller ) , brownies, etc.
