Your best bet might be to find a hobby shop that has a lot of car and train models in it, as many people who enjoy making models also do airbrushing. Art supply stores also carry airbrushes and supplies. You don't need just the airbrush, you need the paints and some other stuff too. I don't do it myself, I have just seen the supplies at hobby and art supply stores. Once you have experimented a bit, and know what you want, you might want to see what's available online, too. I've also had some great help from online stores when I start a new hobby. Frequently, the people who run online stores are very enthusiastic about the hobby, and are quite willing to share their expertise. These people might know more about a specific craft than a random brick and mortar store employee. Have fun!
