What train set should I get?

Where can I get a wooden train table for really a old train train set?

  • Thanks for looking at this question. I was Christmas shopping when I thought that I might be able to get a train table for my stepdad's old train set. He has had them for YEARS!!!!! They are some of the originals. The one with the milk cart that the man dumps the milk off in one certain. I would also like to get him some of that rockyish things that makes steam when the train has been running long enough that it gives off steam out of the smoke stack. Thanks again. Please give me a good answer.

you will have to do the same things as they did when they made the train set. they made it themselves. they built it on a 4foot by 8 foot piece of plywood. you can buy all of carpet stuff, trees, buildings, etc........just for trains.

I would try ebay, because it has descriptions and pictures of the item.Also maybe an antique shop!There are tons of collectibles there.

I'm not sure where you live, but if you look around for small time train shops, they might be able to help you out, because I know where I live there are shops out here that specialize in model trains. I would recommend though, that you just make one, or have someone do it for you, and that way you can make it to your specifications.
