hardcore racing makes a .21 conversion kit for the t-maxx. it is kinda spendy though, about $225-250. i have also seen a t-maxx with dual .21s in it, although that was a custom chassis. also being that my sirio monster big block .27 crankcase is almost the same size as my OS .21 rg, i would say that with the conversion kit, you could probably fit a .27 or maybe even a .30 into it. if your looking for a drop-in engine, then probably the biggest you can fit is the traxxas 3.3 or an OS .18

Whatever you can cram into it. I've been thinking of putting an old lawnmower engin in one, just for fun. If anyone does that, please post pictures of it, I still cannot figure out how to securley attach it.
