I want to start a hobby of reading?

I love answering kindle questions, it's by far one of my favorite devices that i keep in my bag. For starters and most importantly I own the Kindle 2 (soon to be upgrading to the Kindle DX), and it is easy for me to say I love it! I think I've read over 20 books so far. Before I owned the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some thing like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to bring the Kindle 2 along with me. Another thing I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, say when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework... I like reading and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work very well, it is really like reading books... 1. I don't know. I find that audio books slow me down because you would have to follow along with the slow pace of speaking. 2. All classics are free. 3. I read normal books from the library. Try that before you invest in an eReader that you don't even know if you'll use. 4. read books that you're interested in. if you enjoy them, you'll speed through them easily. 5. Reading will most definitely help you in English and on the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SATs. Unfortunately, you are starting a little late.

1. I'd suggest reading BOOKS, and not AUDIObooks, because first of all, it'll ruin your eyes, reading from a small screen, and second, audiobooking isn't the same as reading books 2. Read fun books, like joke books to start off, and then read short books of good series, like Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone and you'll start liking it 5.
