I don't believe arthritis can be cured -- pharmaceutical or natural remedies. If this doctor has been wrong before, he should seek a 2nd opinion before surgery. Patients do that all the time. He should be seeing a rheumatologist, for sure, but get a 2nd opinion. It is nice you care, and I know that some people have used glucosamine and chondroitin to reduce the pain and inflammation, but no cures.
