How do I ask my professor for a reference letter?

Letter of reference not delivered?

• What do I do in this situation? Gave a speech to a class on the condition that I receive a letter of reference or feedback from the students/professor. Prof agreed. I sent her the feedback forms. I get to the presentation, and she doesnt have the forms. She says she will put them on line. Ok. My red flags are up but I think - can't worry about that now. I deliver the presentation and the students ask me questions for 20 minutes. After that, the prof says "next year, I want you here on the first day!" I think yay, I have done well. We end on a positive note, with the prof promising the letter on Monday. I dont receive the note Monday so I email her Tuesday, suggesting that I send out a courier Wednesday. "oh don't send a courier, I'll email you the letter after I scan it." Perfect, I reply. It is Friday. No letter. What is my next step?
