How do I send an e-mail/attachments?

When looking to send someone a b'day greeting or message online, how late in to the day could you send it?

• When sending someone an online greeting or message for their b'day, what's the latest time in the (24 hours) day to send it? How late in to the day could you send it - where it would it alright and appropriate to still send it to them but later on in the day? Is sending a greeting or message in the afternoon or even in the late afternoon, early or later evening not such a good thing? It may imply (or be interpreted) that you forgot, etc. I know the later you leave in the day til you send it, means there can be less likelihood of that recipient seeing and reading that greeting or message in their inbox on the same day, but it's good to have sent to them on the same day as their b'day. Also, if you know that person has their b'day on a particular week, and it could fall on one of a few days during that week, supposing their b'day could have been yesterday for instance, and you leave it until the following day or two after to send a greeting or message to them, (due to problems with sleep, body clock etc) what do you do there, or approach that possibility? You still want to send them a greeting for instance, but you may be late in sending it to that person.
