What's it like to live in a college campus?

Invest in a car or should i live on campus for college?

  • RIght now im saving money.. and im still not sure what to do.. im working a part time job that is not enough finacially wise for college living expenses so im probably going to have to get another job. IT is enough however to afford a cheap car if i save up till around july. My College is in the city and i live in the suburbs so its about 1 hour commute probably more with traffic. My parents say they will help me out with the money for college living if i make around 4000 (livign expenses is 6,000 ) but my parents say it is not a guranteed I feel like it would be very ideal to invest in a car cause it will last me my life.. verses the two years im at college. But then i feel like i would be missing out on the college experience by not living on campus. im 19 right now and i feel like time is running out, what should i do? ive been so stressed with exams and school.. and work. I got into a college closer to me but the guy who use to stalk me goes there.. so i dont want to go where he is..

  • Answer:

Definitely live on campus. Reasons: 1. It makes the college experience worth it. Living away from home give you the independence needed to move on with your life. 2. You'll always be close enough to classes to make you attend full time. 3. You'll be close to friends. Living at home puts you "out of sight, out of mind." 4. You can always go home.
