Do People really like freebies?

Why do people try to get money and freebies from small business owners, then stand in line to pay more at?

  • corporate businesses. I find this happens all the time in my small bar/restaurant.

    followers follow thinking a big rich corporation actually cares about them and that if they buy their products somehow magically they will have a CEO lifestyle. Then they go right ahead and screw over the mom and pop shop and take advantage of their caring generosity. Same reason millions of people give their money to the people who least need it. the money will be going to Microsoft, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Wal-Mart way before it goes to helping the les fortunate. can you say unequal?
