What will happen if Global Warming cannot be stop?

  • Hi you maybe asking yourself why I am asking this question, I am asking this because I want to help stop global warming I am a curious person and I have an I.Q of 126 please bare with me. scientist predicted that we only have six(6) years left to stop or prevent global warming, scientists predicted that if it cannot be stop within 6 years then there will be no stopping it anymore, they said that less than 2% (percent) of the human population will survive, I mean how many humans will be left? If global warming cannot be stop then this planet will fall apart, I mean this world will be like in the movie "WATERWORLD" where people search and kill each other just to see or touch a grain of sand that is really a nightmare. I want to help stop global warming, I mean like participating in events and awareness that will tell all the people in this world to think about what they are doing, this is really serious, 6(six) years is just not enough, how are we going to stop it. I really wonder, I know there are technologies right now that are being constructed to stop global warming, I really hope it will work. And I hope after this battle, we will teach ourselves a big lesson. Not to mess with Mother Nature. Now I know this sounds really funny, but I think aliens are trying to communicate to us, I think they know something that we don't I think they are trying to tell us something, something that we can't understand. Or maybe they are trying to help us. Now don't laugh about this, I am only asking this because I am a curious person. It would be an honor if you share you thoughts with me by answering this question

    I feel you. I'm VERY VERY passionate about global warming. I think that what we're doing to the earth is horrible, and we're messing with the way the earth should be naturally. And like you, I'd love to get active in promoting living more green and to help fight this :) But after studying some geology, I realized that WE are not causing global WARMING. They say that there have been 4 ice ages in the past, sort of like a cycle. But what if our ice age is still ending? It seems to make so much more sense that the ice caps are melting and that our planet is getting hotter because the ice age is still ending. And plus, when there are holes in the Ozone layer, they just patch themselves up again. But I DO think that we are polluting the world horribly. If this is not stopped, then the worlds atmosphere will be completely out of wack. The rate of asthma will go up (it already has), the cities will be even more smoggy, more breathing conditions will come up, and it'll just be difficult to breathe. I hope I helped :)

You can't stop it. It's a natural cycle that's happened several times before during the planet's lifespan. Human activity is only speeding it up... it's not the root cause.

Dnt worry about 6yrs time global warming isn't going to happen for along time not in our generation TRUST ME!!!!

o..k.... I don't really get how aliens fit into the mix. But seriously no one knows what will happen. All scientists can do is what youve been talking about...PREDICT. And theres no telling how accurate their predictions are. They could be way off for all we know. 6 Years is a little ridiculous. The earth is not deteriorating enough for it to naturally "fall apart" in six years time, some kind of catastrophe would have to happen, which is unlikely. Now several hundred years is a different story. The theory that some people believe in, including me, is that this is just one of earth's cycles, and that there isnt much we can do to stop it, it's natural. And I dont think it will do much to seriously affect the earth in our lifetime.

Your the one with the huge brain of 126 I.Q. Why ask us? J/K.. Don't beleive every thing your told by scientist. They were spreading Global Cooling fear in everyone during the early 1970's. Go to Time magazines website and search the archieves for back issues. Somewhere around 1974. You ever think that maybe its earth's way of getting rid of us?

uhhhhhhh we all die and perish and live on mars with all the other aliens and survive on martian rocks and survive the cold and heat by eating eternal life lava and drinking from the pool of glory. hows that??

I have reason to believe that your either IQ is not 126, or you are easily fooled. (wisdom and intelligence are not the same) There is nothing you can do to stop global warming. If the human race died off today: The ocean would still have millions of gallons of crude oil leaked into it every year by natural seepage. Brush fires would still occur naturally, emitting more smog in one week than New York City does in one year. All kinds of toxins and greenhouse gasses would still emit from volcanoes, which can spew 100 years of civilization's pollution into the atmosphere in about 5 minutes. Brush would overgrow our lawns. So that's less oxygen. Lawns emit more oxygen than brush, so everyone with a lawn is helping to stop global warming, if it exists. And if one human was alive through all this, he would probably believe it was all our fault.

Look the main thing is humans are definitely the main cause of global warming and the only way we human can stop it is if major drastic changes and actions are done to help save the earth. Obviously people aren't taking this seriously at least not yet that is, when things get really bad is when your going to see everyone pitch in and do something and create new technologies to help save the earth. all we can do is hope that time comes before its too late.

Why you would put your I.Q. level on here, I have no idea, seeing how I have no idea what high, low, or medium I.Q. is. The answers are there to stop global warming, but it costs money, and that's something big business is not going to part with. And our politicians are bought and paid for.

Yeah, they're saying that vary bad things will happen, and it will either be a bad or very bad. Even if we take lots of preventative measures now I believe it is too late and things are going to get baddddd. I wish people and governments were doing more to stop global warming. I do what I can but that just isn't enough!
