What are the different ecological principles? Please explain each briefly?

Would someone please explain what the strong and weak anthropic principles are? ?

  • how do those principles relate to how the world was specfically designed and tuned?

  • Answer:

The anthropic principle is the idea that physical laws by necessity have to be so, that they lead to a Universe where the conditions are such that there is intelligent life on Earth. In other words, the various parameters can not be too different from what they actually are. As an example, the age of the Universe can not be random, as several generations of stars were necessary to produce the amount of heavier atoms than hydrogen and helium that we see. Weak version puts constraints only on out location in time and space, while the strong version adds constraints on the law of physics itself.
