What do you think about synthetic ice?

What do you think of my idea for the next ice age?

  • The next global warming incident will soon be an ice age happening in 500 years or less... probably... at the rate were going you never know... but dont you think that we should put everything that we know (ie: languages, mathematics, theories, how to make stuff, ect) into an indestructible box so that the evolutionized human (or whatever it is... after the ice age new organisms will start to live and evolution will occur and a superior life form compared to us will probably come out) will be able to know everything that we know so that the global warming accident doesnt happen all over again?... like shouldnt we be thinking of saving them all this time on figuring things out (Pangea and stuff all the way back to the beginning of time). Like they could progress through it and understand it more so than us humans know it... I think it would be cool... What do you think about it?... its just a thought but i was outsife looking in my forest and thinking if it all jus went away....eh?

    If indeed there came another Ice Age, I would shutter to think that any of todays technology would resurface for a new generation. Simply because in all of mankinds advances, We have greatly diminished, and demoralised this earth and all of it's resources we took all of value and what was not consumed was put back as trash. You could look at it as a Giant eating all that is before him, and what is not absorbed by the body is excreted out as feces (DOO-DOO). All things would be better if it was reborn a new. If God so chooses to smite this earth and eliminate all of the Evil in it, then it is so selected by choice for extinction, and all things will be made new.

I love it when people think outside the box. I found your theory to be extremely interesting. But if we are going to evolve into these superior, human-like species, why would we need to save everything up for them to know? We still have to be around for them to evolve from. Does that make any sense?

First, lets make the assumption that you are right. Lets also assume that the entire population becomes extinct. Think for a minute, could this really happen? How do you suppose they would extract that information? By the way, in answer to my question, the answer is NO. We would move to a warmer area and preserve our own information and continue to use it. No ice age has ever depopulated the planet.
