Is becoming a herbalist a good career choice?

Would becoming a Petroleum Landman be a bad career choice?

  • I'm about to go to college and I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the rest of my life and was wondering if it would be smart becoming an Oil and Gas Landman in these economic times...I've always wanted to be wealthy and heard it's a good field to go into...Is it possible for them to make over $1 Million a year if they work hard?

  • Answer:

It's a great career but $1 million a year is kind of a stretch. Don't get me wrong, the pay is great and over time, you could start your own leasing operation and make many millions, but that isn't realistic in your first few years. The field is growing for sure with the rising price of oil especially up North and now is a good idea to get in and get started. It is very lucrative and gives you alot of freedom also.
