Working permit for film industry?
-
I am a swiss citizen and would like to attend a film school in Los Angeles. I want to make sure I can work in Los Angeles after school. Given the specificity of the film industry, I need to understand how easily will I be able to get a working permit if I get hired for a specific job. I know that for most of the jobs, a us company needs to sponsor the international worker in order for him to get a working permit. This process can take more than a year and no film company will wait that long. But I guess I am not the only foreigner working in the film industry and I heard of specific working permit for entertainment industry. I would be most happy if someone could help me figure that out.
