Whats the name of this film job?

• im 14 and really want to be a person that thinks up the ideas for movies and possibly direct them, whats the name of the idea job thing where you have to think of the ideas??? oh and look out for my name on movies in maybe 30 years time... just in case! ;) look on my profile for some of my ideas, theyre usually movies like armageddon and love ones to do with action. all of my friends and family say id be amazing at it as i watch a film or 2 every day! ;) thanks guys and girls!   You probably want to be a producer. A producer is like the CEO of the film. He has to figure out how to finance the film, and this gives him a lot of control. He could hire writers to convert film ideas into a script. A director is someone who films the script and has to determine what shots to take, and how to do them. He tells people what to do on the set. If the producer is the CEO, he is the branch manager of the film. If your talented at writing, you might want to learn script format (its easy, and there are programs to assist, so you don't even really have to learn it anymore) and convert the ideas into actual movie scripts. The scripts can be used to pitch the ideas to sponsors, or can be sold to a bigger film company to be shot.
