Can I go back to High School?

Almost 18 and still a freshman, can i go back to high school?? HELP!?

  • Ok im 17 years old, i turn 18 in november. For skiping and doing stupid things im still a freshman with no credits. Now this year i was still in school but i withdrew hoping to find a nice job and get a g.e.d. Now i wasnt born here and dont have the citizenship. Well i did very stupid things during the few weeks i went, including pulling a fire alarm. Believe me i learned my lesson!! Now i want to go back and start from zero again, i was told that if i went to summer school and got a credit for english 9 i would be put in 10th grade. I live in prince goerge county in M.D. Now im not dumb in middle school i had honor roll in most classes including esol3 im kinda smart, but bad influences ruined me. Please help me i wanna go back real bad and get my education for real. I wanna do good but will the school let me back in? Even if i dont go to summer school this year ( for $$$ reasons) would they still let me back in as a freshman? Thanks for the help.

    Uh no.. You're an adult now so you have to get your GED. You're not even here legally it sounds.

Dude, honestly i would just try to apply to some low level college or get a g.e.d. because theres no point of being 18 as a sophomore. All the kids at my school who do that just look like losers. Try to get a job or something. Good luck

You should at least have a green card,if you weren't born here.Also I think,they will accept you as a freshman,but your almost 18,you'll be 22 when you graduate high school or around there.If you really want a solid answer,ask the school yourself.If I was in your position,I will just get a GED and attend adult school.
