Catholic high school interview-how to prepare and what to wear?

  • Day after tomorrow I have to go to an interview for a catholic high school. I'm not even sure if i want to go there, i'm torn between the public high school and this one. I dont know how to prepare for the interview, what kinds of questions do they ask, and how should I prepare for it? Also what should I wear, i'm a boy. I dont want to be overdressed or underdressed, if i have to choose i'd be overdressed. It's St. Louis University High in St. Louis in case you're wondering I'm a little pissed because they scheduled my interview for the day after christmas

    Take a deep breath and relax. Look smart, dress perhaps with a shirt, but no tie! You dont want to look over smart! Catholic Schools tend to ask you questions on your beliefs and interests. When you are answering a question, be confident and concise - do not waffle! Relax in the interview, but do not make yourself out to have a bad attitude, so laugh when things are funny, but do not make silly jokes! This may not impress! Remember, be confident, relaxed and if you try your best, your best will bring you success! Good Luck and Happy Christmas!

First, I'd advise you NOT to go to a Catholic high school and I'm not really sure why you would want to in the first place. If it's for the academics, trust me catholic schools are no better than public. My parents sent me to Catholic school for a year, and it was public high school with uniforms and rich stuck-ups. Say no to Catholic school.

don't say pissed in the interview... wear khakis or black pants and a nice polo with a sweater over it...
